- Keep their cell phones active
- File a report with their schools and individual teachers.
- Reach out to parents of close friends.
- Post a Facebook posting of your child or teens disappearance.
- Do not cancel their credit cards or debit cards – useful to determine their purchases.
- File a report with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.missingkids.com
- Secure any computers and wireless devices used by your teen. DO NOT conduct any searches on these devices on your own.
- Provide any social media sites your child may be a user of.
- Does your teen use medication and provide a list of those needed medications.
